A Glimpse of the Tinnitus Specialism Masterclass (March 2026, Belgium) and the World Tinnitus Congress (London 2027)
Free webinar announced by Hashir International Institute and ON-GEHOORD
The Hashir International Institute and ON-GEHOORD are pleased to announce a free international webinar titled “A Glimpse of the Tinnitus Specialism Masterclass (March 2026, Belgium) and the World Tinnitus Congress (London 2027).”
The live session will take place on Wednesday 26 November 2025 at 6:00 PM (UK time) and is open to all professionals with an interest in tinnitus, hyperacusis, and misophonia care.
The webinar will bring together Dr Hashir Aazh and Professor Bart Vink to discuss how collaborative education and clinical research are helping shape the next generation of tinnitus care. The session will provide an overview of upcoming training opportunities, international partnerships, and key research directions in the two years leading up to the World Tinnitus Congress in 2027.
Professional Development Through Collaborative Learning
The discussion will introduce the Tinnitus Specialism Masterclass, a three-day training event to be held in Belgium in March 2026.
The course is part of the CBT-Hear training pathway, which provides a structured framework for audiologists and psychologists to integrate cognitive-behavioural principles into the management of tinnitus and sound intolerance.
The masterclass will offer hands-on experience with case-based learning, multidisciplinary formulation, and supervised practice. Participants will explore the use of validated clinical tools and structured CBT interventions within an audiological context.
Alongside the face-to-face training, CBT-Hear offers online advanced pathways (Stages 2 and 3) that allow clinicians around the world to continue developing their skills through online supervision, reflective learning, and research-informed case discussions. Together, these initiatives reflect CBT-Hear’s commitment to advancing shared clinical knowledge and evidence-based practice.
Looking Ahead to the World Tinnitus Congress 2027
The webinar will also highlight the upcoming 4th World Tinnitus Congress and 15th International Tinnitus Seminar, which will take place in London in June–July 2027.
Under the theme “From Mechanism to Meaning – The ABC of Tinnitus,” the Congress will unite researchers, clinicians, and educators to explore how scientific insight can be translated into meaningful improvements in clinical care.
For many CBT-Hear participants, the 2027 Congress will be an opportunity to share clinical outcomes, connect with international peers, and engage with cutting-edge developments in tinnitus and sound-intolerance research.
